YOU WILL GO OUT IN JOY AND BE LED FORTH IN PEACE;...

LUKE 1:68-79
"Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come and has redeemed is people. He has risen up a horn of salvationfor us in the house of His servant David (as he said through his holy prophets long ago), salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us- to show mwrcy to our fathers and to remember His holy covenant, to oath he swore to our father Abraham: to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve Him without fear in holiness and righteousness before him all our days. And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare a way for Him, to give His people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our god, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in the darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace."

PEACE- 1. A STATE OF CALM, FREEDOM FROM STRIFE OR DISCORD, HARMONY IN PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP.

ROMANS 5:1-2
THEREFORE, SINCE WE HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED THROUGH FAITH, WE HAVE PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THROUGH WHOM WE HAVE GAINED ACCESS BY FAITH INTO THIS GRACE IN WHICH WE NOW STAND. AND WE REJOICE IN THE HOPE OF THE GLORY OF GOD.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7
DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING, BUT IN EVERYTHING, BY PRAYER AND PETITION, WITH THANKSGIVING, PRESENT YOUR REQUESTS TO GOD. AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH TRANCENDS ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS.

Jesus wants us to trust in Him and to lean not on our own understanding (proverbs 3:5). In Jesus we have peace because he has called us to peace. Our battles belong to our Lord...So we must free our minds from strife, and be calm, living in harmony which comes from walking in the light of Christ, and having a relationship with Him. As Chrsitians, we are called to make jesus the LORD (A MASTER OR RULER) of our lives having confidence in His ways.Living by the example of Christ saves us from our iniquities and strongholds, allowing us to run a victorious race full of victory and authority over the rulers, principalities, and powers who wage war against our souls. There is no condemnation when we are in Christ because we have become a new creation, no longer indulging in the passions and desires of the flesh.

CALM- 6. SERENITY; TRANQUILITY

FREEDOM- 3. PERSONAL LIBERTY 7. A RIGHT, AS OF CITIZENSHIP OR MEMBERSHIP.

HARMONY- 1. AGREEMENT; ACCORD

PSALM 107:28
THEN THEY CRIED OUT TO THE LORD IN THEIR TROUBLE, AND HE BROUGHT THEM OUT OF THEIR DISTRESS. HE STILLED THE STORM TO A WHISPER; THE WAVES OF THE SEA ARE HUSHED. THEY WERE GLAD WHEN IT GREW CALM, AND HE GUIDED THEM TO THEIR DESIRED HAVEN. LET THEM GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD FOR HIS UNFAILING LOVE AND HIS WONDERFUL DEEDS FOR MEN.

The wages of sin is death, and as Chrstians we journey through the valley of the shadow of death. Our journey is full of hills, traps rough winds and rough waters. We can be calm in the fact that Jesus is always watching over us, guiding us in paths of righteousness for His name's sake (Psalm 23). And even though we walk in the midst of the enemy (as sheep led to the slaughter (Matthew 10:16) our hope should be in Christ, because He was and is our deliverer(Psalm 40:17).

GALATIANS 5:1
IT IS FOR FREEDOM THAT CHRIST HAS SET US FREE. STAND FIRM, THEN, AND DO NOT LET YOURSELVES BE BURDENED AGAIN BY A YOKE OF SLAVERY.

JOHN 1:12-13
YET TO ALL WHO RECEIVED HIM, TO THOSE WHO BELIEVED IN HIS NAME, HE GAVE THE RIGHT TO BECOME CHILDREN OF GOD-CHILDREN BORN NOT OF NATURAL DESCENT OR OF HUMAN DECISION OR A HUSBAND'S WILL. BUT BORN OF GOD.

AS CHILDREN OF GOD (THOSE WHO HAVE MADE JESUS CHRIST THE LORD OF THEIR LIVES), WE KNOW THAT WE ARE FREE BECAUSE WE LIVE IN CHRIST. THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE IN CHRIST JESUS.

PHILIPPIANS 2:1-2

IF YOU HAVE ANY ENCOURGEMENT FROM BEING UNITED WITH CHRIST,
IF ANY COMFORT FROM HIS LOVE, IF ANY FELLOWSHIP WITH THE SPIRIT,
IF ANY TENDERNESS AND COMPASSION, THEN MAKE MY JOY COMPLETE BY BEING LIKE-MINDED,
HAVING THE SAME LOVE, BEING ONE IN SPIRIT AND PURPOSE.

HARMONY IS NOT ONLY BEING IN AGREEMENT WITH GOD'S WILL AND WAY FOR YOUR LIFE, BUT IT IS ALSO BEING ON ONE ACCORD WITH THE OTHER CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS WHO ARE MARCHING IN THE ARMY OF THE LORD. WE MUST STAND TOGETHER AND RENEW OUR MINDS (CASTING DOWN ALL PREDJUDICE AND SELIFSH AMBITION) SO THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN FLOW THROUGH THE MANY VESSELS OF THE LORD IN A MIGHT WAY.

PUTTING ON PEACE HELPS US TO CROSS ANY DANGEROUS GROUND BY HELPING US TO UNDERSTAND THAT JESUS IS OUR GUIDE.
