FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were
called when you made your good confession in the presence of many
witnesses.

Once we accept Jesus into our lives, our victorious Christian life begins. Once
the blood of Jesus has covered all of our sins, and we have renounced all
attitudes, curses, and ties to the sins of the past, there is no condemnation in
us (Romans 8:1). The only time that Satan can accuse us of being condemned is
when we make the choice to fall back into sin. Sin opens up doorways into
our soul, places for demons to invade and the take advantage of us. Since
there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus, let us pick up the sword of the
spirit, and learn to be more like Christ. If we allow the truth of the word of
God to penetrate every part of our souls, how then can the forces of evil have
any power over us at all…they can't, because good and evil cannot coexist in
the same place. We must surrender all of our being…Body, Soul, and Spirit,
to Jesus, making him the Lord of our lives.
