Titus 3:1
Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be
ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate,
and to show true humility to all men.

As Christians, our battles are constant, and unexpected. God calls us to be
obedient to Him but in order to be obedient, we must learn to hear Him when He is
calling. We are always supposed to be ready to do God’s will, even if it may seem
to be inconvenient or out of place. We don't always understand why God calls us
to do certain things but we must understand that the spiritual realm is a completely
different place governed by very different properties. There is spiritual opposition
around us at all times…Righteousness comes from God…and Matthew 13:43 says
that the righteous will shine like the sun. The world is relying on Christians to
show them who Jesus Christ is. If we are not constantly crucifying the flesh, and
becoming more like Jesus, the world will never know who Jesus really is. Let's
take on the character of Christ, so that when the time comes to shine in the
darkness, or to stand against spiritual opposition in our own lives, we will not fail.
