THE OLD SKIN

As I journey
through the night of my life,
indulging in
sins and pleasures unknown,
my body begins to decompose...
cracking,
breaking,
loosing all of its life...

The deeper I go into the darkness,
the more my body
cries out for nourishment...
as if the darkness was suffocating
every extension of my being.
...
But A new day has arrived...
a new chance to try again...
for the old skin is an accumulation
of my sins and failures...
but the new day brings the hope
of salvation...
If I choose to accept it.

*Jesus died for you..
so that you don't have to pay the price
for your sins.
Jesus is the perfect sacrifice,
for the forgiveness of your sins.
Will you accept Jesus into your heart?...
Your life depends on it...

The wages of sin is (eternal)death.*
