THE ARMOR OF GOD
EPHESIANS 6:10-18
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

THE BELT OF TRUTH

TRUTH- 2. CONFORMITY WITH FACT OR REALITY 4. THE STATE OR CHARACTER OF BEING TRUE.

FOR THE LAW WAS GIVEN THROUGH MOSES; GRACE AND TRUTH CAME THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.
JOHN 3:21
BUT WHOEVER LIVES BY THE TRUTH COMES INTO THE LIGHT, SO THAT IT MAY BE SEEN PLAINLY THAT WHAT HE HAS DONEHAS BEEN DONE THROUGH GOD.
Truth not only pertains to fact or reality but it deals with the ability for us as Christians to be faithful to God and to ourselves through our beliefs. In Christ, we live under His truth, which is not only believing that He is the son of God but the truth or fact that His WAYS are true, just, and faithful. Jesus answered," I am the way the truth and the life,".... When we read the words of our Lord and savior, we begin to see that there were many times in which he began sentances saying," I tell you the truth,". Not only are His ways and teachings true, He was the only human being who could ever claim to be and know complete truth because He came from it (John3:13).

JESUS ANSWERED," I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME.
CONFORMITY IS A KEY PRINCIPLE IN LEARNING TO FOLLOW CHRIST. IT'S SIMPLE, IF WE DON'T CONFORM TO THE WILL OF GOD AND THE WAYS THAT WE HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO LIVE OUR LIVES THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD, WE DON'T LIVE THE VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN LIFE THAT WE HAVE BEEN CALLED TO LIVE.
TIMES ARE TOUGH, THERE ARE SO MANY PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL DISTRACTIONS IN OUR LIVES THAT MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FOLLOW A GOD THAT THEY CAN'T BE SEEN WITH PHYSICAL EYES. BUT FAITHFULNESS AND TRUTHFULNESS IN CHRSIT GIVES US HOPE THAT WE WILL OVERCOME, IF WE BELIEVE AND FIGHT. STANDING FIRM (EPHESIANS 6:14) MEANS BEING AT READY (ATTENTION) SO THAT WHEN OPPOSITION COMES OUR WAY, WE WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FROM OUR COMMANDING OFFICER (JESUS) ON HOW TO DEAL WITH THE MATTER. IF YOU BELIEVE IN CHRIST, A VERY BASIC PRINCIPLE YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT....
PHILIPPIANS 4:13
I CAN DO EVERYTHING THROUGH HIM WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH.
THIS IS WHERE WE UNDERSTAND WHAT SPIRITUAL WARFARE IS ALL ABOUT...IT IS A BATTLE OF TRUTH. IF THE ENEMY CAN TAKE AWAY YOUR ABILITY TO REASON AND TO THINK, AND TO TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, HE HAS ALREADY WON BECAUSE HE HAS SUPPRESSED YOUR WILL TO STAND ON WHAT YOU BELIEVE.
HEBREWS 13:5
...because God has said, "NEVER WILL I LEAVE YOU; NEVER WILL I FORSAKE YOU."
WHEN YOU FALL, OR SIN, GOD DOES NOT LEAVE YOU, NOR HAS HE EVER LEFT YOU. EVEN IF YOU DON'T NOT KNOW HIM, HE IS STANDING AT THE DOOR, KNOCKING, WAITING FOR YOU TO ASK HIM INTO YOUR HEART.
WHY SHOULD WE BELIEVE THAT HE WOULD LEAVE US, OR NOT BE WITH US BECAUSE WE STRUGGLE WITH SIN. THOUGH OUR SCARS/INIQUITIES ARE MANY, NO ONE IS RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE.
PHILIPPIANS 1:6
..BEING CONFIDENT OF THIS, THAT HE WHO BEGAN A GOOD WORK IN YOU WILL CARRY IT ON TO COMPLETION UNTIL THE DAY OF CHRIST JESUS.
THOUGH YOU ARE NOT PERFECT, YOU ARE MADE PERFECT THROUGH CHRIST, AND HE WILL MOLD YOU UNTIL YOU MEET WITH HIM AGAIN.
LIFE IS HARD BUT EVERYDAY WE ARE BEING MOLDED INTO THE PERFECT SOLDIERS...THE PERFECT BRIDES FOR CHRIST.
EVEN THOUGH JESUS ACCEPTS US JUST AS WE ARE...HE REFUSES TO LEAVE US THAT WAY.
THOSE WHO REMAIN IN CHRIST, AND THIRST FOR HIS KNOWLEDGE, WILL BE CHANGED/TRANSFORMED.
